Get this passage from 101 Mentoring by John C Maxwell

Draw a line on the floor and put one person in each side. The purpose is to get one person to convince the other, without force to cross the line. US player almost never convince one another, but Japanese worker do.

They simply said:

“If you will cross the line, so will I”

They exchange places and they both win.
